My name is Jacob Hughes

I spent years at the heart of the asset management industry, most recently at Lansweeper, helping organizations solve the "visibility" problem. During that time, I saw a recurring gap that traditional tools and even modern CAASM platforms couldn't bridge. We were getting better at counting assets, but we weren't getting better at understanding how they were being used against us.

I founded ZILL IT Labs and built LARCK because I realized that in cybersecurity and IT Asset Management, a list is not a strategy. I wanted to move beyond flat inventories and reactive scanning to create a new mental model: Capability-Link Intelligence.

My mission is to give security teams the ability to see their environment the way an attacker does, and IT Teams the ability to manage their environment the way a true Sysadmin should.  I’m here to help security teams move beyond endless vulnerability lists and start focusing on dismantling the attack chains that actually matter, and to empower your IT Operations teams with asset understanding, not just asset inventory.
